About Image Watermark

Adding watermarks to images is a common way to protect copyright and boost brand exposure, whether you are a photographer, designer or merchant guarding product shots. This tool adds text watermarks to images locally in your browser: control text content, position, opacity, font size and rotation, tile a faint mark across the whole image to make it hard to crop away, or drop a clean logo-style label in a corner. It is important to set expectations: a visible text watermark is a deterrent and a traceability aid, not real copyright encryption — someone with an image editor can still erase or crop it out. For stronger protection, tile the mark densely or place it over a key part of the subject. Output supports PNG, JPEG and WebP with adjustable quality, and everything runs client-side, so nothing is uploaded and private photos stay on your device. Common uses include protecting original photography, claiming brand on shared social images and stamping internal drafts.

How to Use

  1. Open the Image Watermark tool
  2. Enter or paste the content to process
  3. Adjust the output options as needed
  4. Click the Run button; results appear in real time
  5. Copy or export the result

Use Cases

  • Copyright protection — Add visible watermarks to original photography and design work to deter theft.
  • Brand exposure — Add a logo text watermark to social-media images to boost brand recognition.
  • Internal asset marking — Stamp "Confidential" or "Draft" status watermarks on internal demo or preview images.
  • E-commerce anti-theft — Add a shop watermark to product hero images to stop competitors stealing assets.
  • Document watermarks — Add "For XX verification only" watermarks to ID-card or contract photos to prevent misuse.

FAQ

Does it support text or image watermarks?

The current version supports text watermarks with customizable content, font size, color, opacity and rotation angle, covering most labeling needs.

Can the watermark be removed?

A visible text watermark deters and helps trace, but a skilled editor can still erase it. Tile it densely or place it over a key area to make removal harder.

Can watermarks be tiled?

Yes. Choose "Tile" mode to repeat the watermark across the entire image, making it hard to remove by simple cropping.

Can I control the watermark position?

A 9-grid position selector is available (top-left, center, bottom-right, etc.), plus custom coordinates; tile mode covers the whole image automatically.

Which export formats are supported?

PNG, JPEG and WebP. JPEG and WebP quality is adjustable; choose PNG when the original contains transparent areas you want to keep.

Are my images uploaded?

No. All watermark drawing runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API, so your images never leave your device, even sensitive ones.
