Nothing is uploaded - all processing is local, making it ideal for pulling out key contract pages, separating report sections, or sending individual scanned pages. The tool copies target page content precisely, producing a clean, watermark-free, uncompressed new PDF without touching the original file. Three modes - single-page split, range extraction, and multi-segment extraction - cover most splitting needs. For example, a 100-page report can be split by page ranges like 1-10, 11-20, or have selected pages extracted as separate files.

Does splitting affect the original file?
No. The tool only reads the original PDF and copies the target pages into a new file; the source is never modified.
What page-range formats are supported?
Supports `1-3` (range), `5` (single page), `8-10,12` (multi-segment) and other common formats. Separate multiple segments with commas.
Does splitting reduce page quality?
No. pdf-lib copies original page content without resampling or compression, so output matches the source quality.
Can it split encrypted PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first. The browser cannot handle protected documents - remove the password in the original tool.
Can I extract multiple ranges at once?
Yes. Enter comma-separated ranges in the page input, e.g. `1-3,5,8-10`; the tool merges those pages into one new PDF.
